Constructional Aggression Treatment (CAT)

CAT is short for Constructional Aggression Treatment. I is a treatment developed at the University of North Texas by Kellie Snider and Dr. Jesus Rosales-Ruiz PhD to treat dogs with aggressive reactions towards other dogs and/or dogs and people. It is a shaping-based, operant approach to treating aggression in clients' homes that is producing stronger and much faster results than classical positive desensitization and counter conditioning. Aggression is a learned behavior. CAT changes the consequences for aggression - turning aggression into friendliness.

Release your dog from House-Arrest contact Candy to see if CAT can benefit your dog.

We take canine aggression VERY seriously. If CAT does not fit the need of your situation we can recommend several behaviorists in Indiana and at Purdue University for help.
